About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Patient Services Team Leader to join our team at Monash IVF Group. As a key member of our patient services function, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the best-in-class care and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front desk reception and administration support to patients and staff
  • Manage patient information, including treatment costs, methods of payment, and timing of payments
  • Ensure the provision of quality administration and clerical support is provided within the business
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the patient services staff to ensure they feel empowered to fulfill their roles
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and ensure staff are engaged and competent to perform in their roles
  • Manage rosters, leave requests, and daily timesheet authorizing
  • Ensure the efficient and effective use of resources, with management of overtime expenditure
  • Create and implement efficiencies in the patient services team
  • Collaborate with other leaders to focus on continuous improvement towards the patient journey experience and delivering high-quality care
  • Support with any patient complaints
  • Assist with managing day-to-day operational matters in relevant clinics
Requirements
  • Previous management experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Willingness to be a positive role model, to lead and mentor others
  • Ability to tackle challenges, be innovative, and have the ability to adapt and implement change
  • Conflict management and problem-solving capabilities
  • High degree of developed emotional intelligence
  • Superior organization and time management skills with proven ability to multitask
  • Knowledgeable about all administration processes: Counselling/Patient Journey, Pre booking/Nursing support, Registration, Consent forms, Medical record release, ID verification, and all other processes that are in place
  • Knowledge of medical billing (advantageous)
  • Well-developed communication skills and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills
