The Mechanical Trade Assistant role is an exciting opportunity to work in our component rebuild centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with a variety of duties and ensuring that finished products are prepared for dispatch according to quality and customer requirements.

As a key member of our team, you will have the chance to work with modern workshop equipment and tooling, and enjoy highly competitive rates for your skills and experience. You will also have the flexibility to choose how you spend your time, with options including a 4 day work week or 5 day work week.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous mechanical workshop experience as a trade assistant
  • A current Forklift ticket and Dogging ticket, with relevant experience
  • A basic level understanding of MS office
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • A valid manual Australian driver's licence
  • Australian working rights and national police clearance within 6 months
  • Ability to complete pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing

The Trade Assistant will need to have a similar background and possess relevant certifications, such as a Forklift and Dogging ticket. They should also have experience in lifting and slinging, as well as a high degree of attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met in accordance with customer or standard work procedure.
