Key Responsibilities
  • Research and develop original digital video series in the science genre.
  • Manage the programme's online and social media platforms, working with the Series Producer and ABC Digital department.
  • Collaborate with external social media personalities to create bespoke video content for ABC Science socials.
  • Work with Screen teams to develop episode-specific content and produce, adapt, and edit that content for online publication.
  • Engage with the online audience and grow those audiences on ABC platforms or on third-party platforms.
  • Use data analytics to inform decisions and maintain audience engagement.
Requirements
  • Well-developed planning, organisational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how Specialist Factual content can work in the digital space.
  • Ability to efficiently use technology and applications, including accuracy of input and interpretation of information on computer applications and ABC systems.
  • Demonstrated understanding and passion to source and create authentic content representing the broad diversity of the Australian community.
