Job Overview

The role of Assistant Store Manager is a dynamic and motivating position that requires a retail sales professional to support the team and drive sales in the retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team to achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Manage inventory, including stock replenishment and merchandising to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and increase profitability with the Store Manager's support.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment where teamwork and excellence thrive, supported by the Store Manager.
  • Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Be innovative, creative, and passionate about supporting the local and wider community through solution-focused advice and service.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is essential, with at least one year in a leadership role beneficial but not necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities are necessary.
  • A passion for exceeding targets is desired.
  • Flexibility to work rostered weekends, attend training, and promotional events when required.
