Category Management Senior Specialist

Fortescue is seeking a highly skilled Category Management Senior Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for providing specialist procurement advice on a range of categories to assist stakeholders in planning, developing, sourcing, and managing procurement arrangements to meet organisation and business objectives effectively and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and deliver corporate services category aligning with Fortescue's strategic objectives, including end-to-end category management and sourcing.
- Direct and mentor officers, supporting professional development and improving team performance, reviewing all documentation, including agreements, amendments, and CCRs.
- Engage with stakeholders and suppliers globally across metals and energy portfolio.
- Identify and deliver strategic and continuous improvement initiatives across the category.
- Develop category strategies.
- Administer systems across all agreements, including ivalua, OA's, and SAP.
- Significant experience in procurement, supply chain, or category management, ideally within a large organisation.
- University degree in commerce, business, or law, desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple sourcing requests.
- Strong written skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Well-developed analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively in small to large multi-disciplinary teams, share and transfer knowledge within teams.
- Able to identify issues, problems, and opportunities; develop appropriate and innovative solutions.
- Highly organised, self-starter who can deliver results while working under pressure within tight timeframes.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a global team.
