Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Project Manager to join our team at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) Projects in Perth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and deliver project work on customer sites with full accountability and responsibility for managing and delivering project works.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, explain feasibility of schemes, and develop trusted advisor relationships.
  • Work with developers, designers, and sub-contractors to define and document scope(s) of work(s) and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case.
  • Manage tenders on behalf of customers, carry out tender analysis, and identify statutory and commercial risks associated with projects.
  • Embed and ensure compliance with CBRE WHS and Quality practices and processes in each project.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including estimating, business development, quantity surveying, procurement, and site manager duties as the Head or 'Principal' Contractor.
  • Provide timely monthly reports to the Head of Projects/Business Unit Director in an agreed format.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in commercial construction, fit-out, or critical environment project management.
  • Proven experience of running a P&L and managing a team.
  • Demonstrable evidence of technical qualification in Building and Construction Project Management, Estimating, Scheduling, Site Management, or Engineering background.
