About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Endeavour Foundation. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in their homes and in the community
  • Help individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations through the development of daily living skills, personal care, and social skills
  • Assist with meal planning, cooking, and light cleaning, as well as facilitating community connections through socializing and outings
  • Support individuals with daily activities, such as going for walks, attending appointments, and engaging in hobbies
  • Help individuals maintain connections with family, friends, and services
Requirements
  • Passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and empowering them to live their best lives
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and sleepovers
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including manual handling tasks
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting individuals' privacy
  • Good computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office applications
