Workplace Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation Specialist

Konekt Newcastle is seeking a specialist to deliver workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions that enable individuals and organisations to achieve their potential.

This role involves utilising specialist knowledge and skills to assist people to return to meaningful engagement in occupations. Key responsibilities include evaluating treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness, helping clients identify future employment or training options, performing various assessments depending on clinical expertise, and engaging with key stakeholders to facilitate business objectives.

About the Role
  • Evaluating treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness
  • Helping clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing transferable skills, qualifications, and interests
  • Performing various assessments depending on clinical expertise
  • Engaging with key stakeholders to facilitate business objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Professional registration with AHPRA or ESSA (AEP)
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application
