We are seeking a highly skilled Market Operations Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to the Global Market Dealers and Front Office through the processing and settlement of Treasury transactions.
- You will be responsible for entering Treasury-related transactions initiated by dealers into relevant internal/external systems.
- You will sort and distribute maturing corporate deals to dealers for instructions.
- You will confirm transactions and instructions with counterparties and follow-up outstanding items.
- You will check dealing evidence and SWIFT confirmations (MT320 / MT399).
- You will check and authorise STP deals, book transfers and trades in the external matching/settling system.
- You will release STP payment orders for Corporate and Interbank MM transactions.
- You will prepare customer notices, documents and confirmations for corporate customers for MM, FX or Derivative transactions.
- You will prepare SWIFT messages via SAMH and monitor confirmation matching.
- You will ensure timely and accurate payment/settlement of GMO products, observing the established cut-off times for the relevant currencies and locations.
- You will ensure efficient settlement in Austraclear, RITS and NZClear.
- You will reconcile funds received to settle all transactions and investigate unallocated and/or non-received funds.
- You will handle customer and internal enquiries and requests for information, following up on any outstanding items.
- You will build and maintain good working relations and open communications with internal stakeholders and customers to provide a high level of service and professionalism.
- You should have at least 2 years' experience in a similar or related role within Global Markets Operations.
- You should have knowledge of Austraclear and/or Swift.
- You must be able to work under pressure, with good time management skills and attention to detail.
- You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
