Senior Process Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineering Manager to lead our process design team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing expertise and managing process design through all engineering phases from concept to delivery.

About the Role
  • Provide technical leadership and manage process design teams through engineering phases from concept to delivery
  • Proactively collaborate with Project Managers and Team Members to ensure Projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and quality standards
  • Ability to manage and track single-discipline projects
  • Write high-quality technical reports as required
  • Prepare proposals and tenders for new and ongoing works
  • Provide technical guidance to develop junior engineers
  • SOURCE NEW CLIENTS AND DEVELOP BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 15+ years process design experience in the Oil & Gas industry
  • CPEng or CEng/RPEQ registration
  • Excellent skills in using Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UniSim, and DNV PHAST software packages
  • Sound knowledge of process safety including risk identification and assessment through HAZID/HAZOP, dispersion/radiation analysis, and hazardous area classification
  • Skills in preparing PFD's, P&ID's, heat and material balances, instruments and equipment data sheets, utilities flow diagrams, and chemical consumption/effluent summaries
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Ability and experience in providing technical support through the full lifecycle of the projects
  • A confident communicator and team player with the ability to drive projects and clients' success
