Mining Operations Coordinator Role Summary

This key role will be responsible for managing and coordinating plant and human resources to meet or exceed mine plans in a safe and efficient manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide input into strategic planning processes to ensure practicality of mining operations
  • Model and comply with organizational behaviour standards
  • Conduct thorough investigations into workplace incidents and provide effective feedback to work teams
  • Manage performance monitoring processes to drive Supervisor compliance to the mine plan
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in large scale mining environment with supervisory responsibilities
  • Ability to interpret and deliver to short-term and long-term operational plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, BMS or similar data and reporting systems
  • Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection regulations and Occupational Health and Safety Act/Regulations
  • Desired: Unrestricted Quarry Manager's Ticket, WA Class HR Driver's Licence
