About the Role

Nuveen, the investment management arm of TIAA, is seeking a skilled professional to join its Asia Pacific Debt team in Australia. As a key front office resource, you will provide vital financial analytics, transaction analysis, and execution support to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models to analyze loan investment opportunities, including sensitivity and scenario analysis.
  • Prepare and coordinate business line and Investment Committee papers for new loan investments, collaborating with stakeholders and teams.
  • Review and input on legal documentation for transactions, ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • Manage deal closings, including coordination with external consultants and internal process requirements.
  • Monitor and manage debt portfolios, ensuring covenant compliance and proactive issue resolution.
  • Support third-party capital raising initiatives, including debt funds and separate account mandates.
  • Prepare periodic reporting requirements for the local business and clients, including financial management reporting and management updates.
Requirements
  • Advanced academic standing in business, accountancy, finance, real estate, or legal disciplines.
  • Reasonable work experience in the Commercial Real Estate Debt market in Australia or related fields.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word use.
  • Key technical skills include financial modeling, report writing, and portfolio management.
