Culinary Expertise Wanted

Catholic Healthcare is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Hunters Hill. As a key member of our Catering team, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our residents, while maintaining the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and food safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare fresh and high-quality meals for residents, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences
  • Manage kitchen resources, including equipment and food supplies, within approved budgets
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to Aged Care quality standards
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent
  • Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate
  • Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
