Infection Prevention and Control Specialist

This is a key role in ensuring the health and safety of patients, staff, and visitors to our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring work practice standards and policies to prevent the spread of infections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive infection prevention and control program
  • Lead quality and safety improvement initiatives related to infection control
  • Maintain compliance with infection prevention and control requirements in state and federal guidelines
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration - Registered Nurse
  • Relevant clinical/infection prevention and control experience
