Role Overview

The role involves working as a Consultant Psychiatrist in an adult inpatient unit, managing the clinical treatment of individuals aged 18 to 65 experiencing complex mental illness.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that delivers comprehensive mental health services to a community of approximately 265,000 people. The team provides support across the full spectrum of mental health needs, including Acute Inpatient Care, Acute Community Care, Psychiatric Emergency Services, Consultation Liaison, Aged Care Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, Residential Services, and Early Psychosis Services.

This position requires collaboration with junior medical officers and other adult mental health teams. Additionally, you will be involved in outpatient services such as post-discharge follow-up and ongoing community-based care.
