Job Description

BESIX Watpac are seeking a Document Controller to join our Queensland construction team. The successful candidate will be working in a collaborative environment, managing the document management system and ensuring compliance with quality, occupational health & safety and environmental policies.

  • Managing all incoming and outgoing documents, logging, distribution, filing and archiving of documents and drawings received.
  • Controlling project documentation using industry-standard systems and assisting with QA coordination.
  • Ensuring records are kept and administered in accordance with the project QA plan.
  • Providing general project administration support to the team as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within the building and construction industry or a similar industry.
  • Strong administrative skills including preparation of general correspondence, filing and document control, minute taking, and office management.
  • Intermediate level of MSWord, MSExcel, MSOutlook and ability and willingness to learn new software packages as required.
  • High level of organisational and time management skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
