Join Our Team as an Aged Care Carer

We are seeking an experienced aged care carer to join our team at Basin View Village. As a key member of our care team, you will provide a wide range of personal care services to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care services, including showering, dressing, grooming, and assisting with meals and making beds.
  • Deliver basic clinical care, including wound dressing, assisting with medication delivery, and recording basic clinical observations.
  • Manage care for residents with diabetes, arthritis, and other conditions.
  • Enter reports and observations into our computer program, iCare.
  • Assist and follow directions from the Care Manager to achieve the best possible person-centered care.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Aged Care.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in an aged care environment.
  • An enthusiastic and motivated approach.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Valid police check clearance.
  • Current flu and Covid-19 vaccination.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
