Underground Mineral Resource Development Specialist

This is a challenging job that requires a strong background in geology and experience working in underground mine environments.
The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Geology or higher-level qualifications, previous underground mine geology experience, and a strong grasp of mining geology including gold sampling and assaying, geological interpretation, grade modelling.
We are looking for an experienced Project Underground Geologist who can contribute to the development of processes for underground mineral resource development, identify drilling targets to extend the Life of Mine (LOM) and increase reserves and resources, and work with the modeling and resource estimation team to improve geological data for GC and resource estimations.
About the Job- Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of processes for underground mineral resource development to ensure timely delivery of material into the mine plan.
- Identify drilling targets to extend the Life of Mine (LOM) and increase reserves and resources.
- Work with the modeling and resource estimation team to improve geological data for GC and resource estimations.
- Plan, monitor and implement Mine Geology business improvement projects.
- Contribute to the End of Month (EOM) reconciliation and reporting process.
- You must have a BSc in Geology or higher-level qualifications.
- Previous underground mine geology experience is essential.
- You should have a strong grasp of mining geology including gold sampling and assaying, geological interpretation, grade modelling.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork is required.
- You should be able to coach and mentor junior staff in geological thinking, interpretation and 3D modelling.
