Systems Engineering Manager

The Systems Engineering Manager will directly manage a multi-disciplined team and work collaboratively with other project teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and technical direction to the SEIT team and more broadly across the project and organisation.
  • Apply system engineering practices and processes to deliver complex IT capabilities to customers and other business outcomes.
  • Deliver quality outcomes to customers on schedule, within budget and to agreed scope.
  • Manage product configuration baselines in accordance with configuration management standards and processes.
  • Manage product system requirements and set requirements for software development and other disciplines.
  • Manage system integration.
  • Verify compliance against specifications and requirements to achieve customer acceptance.
  • Develop and deliver Integrated Logistics Support artifacts.
  • Attend and contribute to relevant engineering and project management reviews.
  • Develop and deliver engineering and other assigned technical contract deliverables.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience.
  • Proven engineering leadership and management experience.
  • Proven experience in using Systems Engineering approaches to deliver complex Information Technology capabilities.
  • Software and/or Information Technology practical experience.
  • An undergraduate four-year degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • An Australian government NV1 security clearance.
  • Eligibility to access ITAR controlled technology.
