About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Intrax. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality structural designs and documentation for building structures with medium to large complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver structural solutions for residential and commercial projects, including architecturally designed houses, estate developments, and associated facilities.
  • Collaborate with experienced BE teams to run projects from concept design to construction within budget and delivery time frame.
  • Assist in client management and stakeholder engagement across multiple disciplines.
  • Develop and mentor junior engineers to align with company goals and procedures.
  • Cultivate a client-focused approach within the team, emphasizing responsiveness, timely delivery, and professionalism.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Current RPEQ accreditation.
  • 2-4 years of post-grad experience in residential or building industry, with expertise in design using timber structures, reinforced concrete, steel structures, and other relevant areas.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software tools such as Clear Calcs, Space Gass, Toolkit, and Inducta.
  • Ability to interpret Australian standards and building codes, and design in accordance with relevant regulations.
