A high-level position focused on leading the tax function, driving strategic outcomes, and ensuring compliance.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced corporate Tax professional with extensive experience in managing an end-to-end tax function within a large APAC business. This individual will be responsible for overseeing delivery of timely and accurate tax compliance, ensuring integrity of tax filings & reporting, and providing strategic tax advice to the business in relation to M&A. The successful candidate will have a strong commercial lens, exceptional communication skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee delivery of timely and accurate tax compliance for the Australian and wider AAC region.
  • Integrity of Tax Filings & Reporting: Ensure integrity of tax filings & reporting, direct and indirect taxes across the Group.
  • Representing the Organisation: Key lead in representing the organisation to the ATO for audits, appeals and negotiations.
  • Formulating Tax Procedures: Formulating, implementing and maintaining tax procedures and policies across APAC.
  • Continuous Process Improvement: Lead process excellence through the design and implementation of appropriate systems and controls over key financial & tax processes.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing an end-to-end tax function, with extensive experience in managing teams and delivering results. They will possess excellent communication skills, a strong commercial lens, and a continuous improvement mindset.
