Job Title: Stage 4 Wellbeing Coordinator

We are seeking a suitably qualified and committed Teacher to lead the temporary full-time role of Stage 4 Wellbeing Coordinator at our school, starting in Term 3. The successful candidate will teach one of the following subject areas: Japanese (or another foreign language), Science, or Mathematics.

This position has the potential to become an ongoing full-time position. The Wellbeing Coordinator plays a crucial role in upholding and fostering the School's Vision within the Secondary School.

The Stage 4 Wellbeing Coordinator ensures that students are effectively cared for pastorally, and directed and corrected in matters relating to individual behaviour and School policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Enthusiasm for engaging students in meaningful learning experiences
  • Passion for Christian Education
  • Ability to teach one of the following subject areas:
  • Japanese or another foreign language
  • Science
  • Mathematics
  • Confident in the use of technology in the classroom
  • Curious and tenacious learner with a passion for motivating students to be likewise
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and to collaborate well with others
  • Experience in teaching stages 4-6 in your subject area
  • Have an integrated understanding of the interaction between one's faith and teaching
