Modernise Revenue's Fines & Fees Applications

We are seeking a Junior Developer to support the development of our core Revenue NSW application ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test and maintain Revenue NSW applications with a focus on PHP.
  • Work in an agile environment (Scrum) and participate in team ceremonies.
  • Build collaborative relationships with team members, partners and stakeholders.
  • Promote and support agile/scrum development practices.
  • Continuously develop your technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Experience or strong interest in PHP development.
  • Understanding of microservice architecture and REST APIs.
  • Ability to write SQL queries (Postgres preferred).
  • Exposure to Docker, containers or AWS.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
  • A willingness to learn about cloud technologies and modern development practices.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with PHP migration (7.3 to 8.x).
  • Knowledge of Zend Framework or yii2.
