Electrical Systems Specialist

At HSE Mining, we take pride in our commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of heavy equipment, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including fleet monitoring, 12/24v electrical systems, fleet air conditioning systems, and fleet communication systems.
  • Respond to breakdowns and conduct required inspections to maximize equipment utilization.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Trade Certificate in Auto Electrical.
  • High level of technical skills on the above equipment.
  • A Current Queensland Coal Board Medical.
  • Standard 11 Statement of Attainment.
  • Current Open Drivers Licence.

    • 105 hours Personal leave.
    • 7:7 rotating shifts 12.5 hours, great work/life roster.
    • BIBO from Mackay, BIBO from Townsville is currently under trial.
    • FIFO options - conditions apply.
    • Overtime available on day shifts only.
    • Full PPE Kit - including boots – provided.
    • Training renewal for High-Risk tickets & licences.
