We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Australia. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for our defence projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct systems analysis to derive function, performance, and interface requirements to meet electrical safety parameters.
- Engage with system design activities to ensure that electrical design artefacts are compatible with the baselined product.
- Perform technical risk analysis to support development and review of hazard logs, safety case arguments, and risk mitigation actions.
- Ensure assigned electrical systems/sub-systems are developed and implemented according to appropriate standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver systems integration and mission support solutions to our customers.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant electrical engineering discipline.
- Experience in an engineering discipline, including involvement in requirements definition, management, analysis, design, and verification and validation.
- Experience in effectively representing engineering professional services to both internal and external customers.
- Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical design.
- Practical to substantial knowledge of projects, programs, or systems relevant to the business.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
