Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to deliver quality assurance for our above water systems segment.

The successful candidate will drive improvements to meet quality objectives, reduce risks and minimize the cost of non-quality across operations.

They will apply a risk-based approach to quality assurance, ensuring compliance, addressing deficiencies and certifying products.

The Quality Assurance Manager will integrate complex project requirements and diverse stakeholder expectations, establishing quality benchmarks and mitigating risks.

This role requires excellent communication and influencing skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Mobilize cross-functional teams to drive critical quality outcomes.
  • Develop and communicate a structured roadmap outlining key milestones, deliverables and quality expectations.
  • Identify potential challenges and implement solutions that streamline processes and facilitate seamless execution of quality assurance practices.
  • Evaluate operational performance and present management with comprehensive quality metrics.
  • Oversee internal, customer and third-party activities for applicable certifications.

On day one in this role, we expect you to bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Audit qualifications background or qualifications desirable.
  • Extensive experience in quality management preferably in an industrial/system's engineering organization.
  • Detailed knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
  • Strategic influencing skills including promoting improvement at all levels.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills including applying problem-solving tools.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills including preparing and presenting reports.
  • Ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Diplomacy skills including withstand pressures and say 'no' when quality is insufficient.
