CPL - Choice, Passion, Life is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Worker to join our team in Gladstone and surrounding areas.

As a Direct Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting with personal care, administering medications, and promoting community engagement. You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, providing tailored support to enhance their quality of life.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support with personal care, including showering, toileting, and dressing
  • Administering medications as prescribed
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers using hoists and slide sheets
  • Participating in community activities, such as attending appointments and engaging in social and recreational activities

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • A Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card)
  • Commitment to infection prevention and control measures, including the use of PPE as directed
