Job Summary

As a senior facilities manager, you will lead all aspects of maintenance, safety, and building performance.

The role involves overseeing daily facilities, maintenance, and capital works, leading contractors and internal teams to deliver quality outcomes. Ensuring compliance with OH&S, building codes, and essential services is also a key responsibility. Additionally, creating a resident-first environment through well-maintained facilities and managing budgets, reporting, and supporting sustainability initiatives are essential duties.

About the Role

  • Manage priorities and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Oversee daily facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and asset management
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve building performance and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in maintenance coordination, facilities, or property management
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency with facilities management systems and MS Office
