Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate personal care professional to join our team. As a Personal Carer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting residents with daily tasks and activities, providing high-quality personal care based on their individual needs, and promoting independence and confidence by encouraging residents to do things for themselves.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess sound best practice personal and clinical care skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

In addition, you will need to have a strong understanding of dementia support requirements and be able to develop and deliver person-centred care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate III in Aged Care
  • Demonstrated experience in a personal carer role
  • Sound best practice personal and clinical care skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of dementia support requirements
