At NASA's Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio, we are seeking a skilled Power Electronics Engineer to work on the Advanced Modular Power Systems (AMPS) project.

The selected candidate will collaborate with senior Electrical Engineers to advance the AMPS project to a relevant environment using parts with a path to flight or even non-qualified space parts. To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the required skills and qualifications as outlined below.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implementation of power electronics PCBs and systems.
  • Work with LTSpice or Simetrix / Simplis for simulation development of power electronics behavior.
  • Read and create engineering drawings for power electronics assemblies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of power electronics design experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience working directly in the design, fabrication, and test of power electronics.
  • Electronics testing background with fundamental knowledge of test equipment.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 to 5 years of experience or Master's degree with 0 to 3 years of experience.
