Job Title: Expert Solution Architect
Job Summary:
Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland government department to recruit a Solution Architect contract to deliver on the logical and physical solution architecture aspects for a significant Program. This encompasses both functional and technical aspects across the projects and workstreams to design, deliver and upgrade the HCMS solution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the solution product vendor and the system integration partner as well as other teams across the Information & Technologies Branch.
- Be associated with all phases of the solution architecture development lifecycle, including migration.
- Performing reviews/recommendations for solution architecture across enhancements to Human Capital Management solutions.
- Performing reviews/recommendations for the reduction of technical debt/transitions across private and public cloud platforms, systems and modules.
- Performing reviews/assessments for transition to cloud-based solutions for some solutions.
- Performing recommendations for future technology directions.
- Developing conceptual and logical solution architecture and facilitating consultation and approval to progress to build and implementation.
- Coordinating technical expertise and advice across the program and cooperating with vendor resources to ensure optimal outcomes for the Department.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated (minimum recent five years) Solution Architecture experience of ERP and related Human Capital Management on-premises/cloud/hybrid solutions.
- Demonstrable and solid experience with solution (both Logical and Physical) architecture and practical implementation of stable, viable solutions suitable for the performance specified.
- Expertise in the production of roadmaps and patterns for new and existing solutions, aligned with strategic plans to support efficient reuse of solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver multiple concurrent key initiatives;
- Demonstrated high levels of relationship, communication and negotiation skills.
