Key Roles and Responsibilities

Drive large-scale project success by leading quality management across multiple billion-dollar mining and renewable energy initiatives.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management Framework to ensure exceptional project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design, deliver, and refine Quality Strategies, Plans, and resource forecasts that meet business objectives.
  • Oversee and mentor diverse project quality teams to guarantee timely, within-budget delivery of high-quality results.
  • Evaluate and set quality expectations for contracts, tenders, and suppliers, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Promote a culture of excellence by facilitating training sessions, audits, inspections, and risk-based assessments to foster continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Provide regular performance updates and insights to senior leadership, informing strategic decisions.

Requirements and Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Engineering or significant experience in quality management on major projects. An electrical trade background is essential, coupled with at least 5 years of experience as a Quality Lead or Senior Quality Advisor in the mining, energy, or infrastructure sectors.

Strong proficiency in risk-based quality assessment, audits, and contractor/supplier engagement is necessary. Familiarity with OEM providers and EPC/EPCM environments is advantageous. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills are critical, along with a passion for contributing to the growth of renewable energy initiatives.
