We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Occupational Therapy team at DPV Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, client-centered care to adults with diverse backgrounds and needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic, evidence-based occupational therapy services to clients, focusing on prevention, early intervention, and restorative interventions.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement client-centered care plans.
- Supervise and support Grade 1 staff members, OT students, and Allied Health Assistants as needed.
- Liaise with external services and partners to ensure a high-quality service is provided to our communities.
- Participate in quality assurance and service development projects to enhance innovative and efficient practices.
- Qualification in Occupational Therapy with registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
- Sound theoretical knowledge base and commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Well-developed clinical skills and ability to support a coordinated approach to improving health outcomes.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a community setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including detailed report writing.
- Autonomous with good caseload and time management skills.
- Experience working with people with chronic health conditions, physical, and/or psychosocial disabilities.
