Construction Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Construction Maintenance Specialist to join our Works and Field Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining parks and completing facility improvements across the city.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct construction, landscape, and playground maintenance activities to ensure high-quality services for residents and visitors.
- Inspect, report, and maintain parks, reserves, and playgrounds to meet health and safety standards.
- Maintain fencing, pathways, shelters, retaining walls, shade sails, and outdoor furniture to create a pleasant environment.
- Operate small plant equipment, including kanga, elevated work platforms, and job trucks, safely and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety practices and guidelines.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A current C-Class Driver's License (MR License would be an advantage).
- Relevant experience in construction, landscape, and playground maintenance.
- A relevant trade certificate would be advantageous.
- The ability to adapt quickly to changes and priorities.
- A commitment to delivering quality services that enhance community life.

This is a permanent full-time position at LGE Level 5-6 with a salary commencing at $65,696 per annum, plus 12.5% superannuation. Our benefits package includes:
