
Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in delivering workplace injury prevention, return to work or life and disability support solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to utilise their specialist knowledge and skills to assist people to return to meaningful engagement in occupations.
In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness. You will also support clients with chronic illness, injury or disability to achieve independence and fulfill their goals. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating treatment and rehabilitation needs of workers
- Supporting clients with chronic illness, injury or disability to achieve independence and fulfillment of goals
- Assessing and recommending assistive technology under various contracts
- Performing functional capacity evaluations, worksite and ergonomic assessments
- Administering standardized assessment tools
- Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate and monitor client progress toward return to work or life goal
- Engaging with key stakeholders and building strong relationships to facilitate achievement of business objectives
