Job Summary

Avoid Financial Crime: Investigative Role

We are seeking an exceptional AML Investigator to join our team and make a significant impact in protecting our customers and communities from financial crime. As an investigator, you will be responsible for triaging and actioning system-generated alerts, investigating complex cases, and providing recommendations to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage and action system-generated alerts within set service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Investigate alerts, including AML and Sanctions alerts, and write detailed risk assessment reports
  • Flex your skillset by supporting the team in areas of need, gaining exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and investigations
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A genuine interest in developing a career in AML/financial crime detection and investigation
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in AML and financial crime risk, ideally with a working knowledge of processes and procedures in financial institutions
  • A strong written and verbal communication skillset, able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and write formal reports
  • Confidence in making quick decisions and informed recommendations, with the ability to determine when it's appropriate to escalate
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume role, managing varied workloads, priorities, and pressures under minimal supervision
