Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to lead our accounting operations at the mine site. This key role will be responsible for preparing and reporting monthly management accounts, as well as overseeing the general ledger.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely management accounting reports for the mine site, including ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support audit requirements for multiple mines during hard close, half-year and full-year audit processes, and joint venture accounting and reporting.
  • Oversee the stewardship of the general ledger, ensuring correct allocation of expenses for company codes.
  • Develop expertise in Pulse (ERP) and TM1 (BI software).
  • Participate in testing of system updates.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor of Commerce / Accounting / Business or related field qualification is essential.
  • CPA or CA membership is highly desirable.
  • At least 3 years of experience in management accounting, preferably with exposure to mine accounting.
  • Proficiency in systems such as TM1 Planning Analytics and Pulse is advantageous.
