Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Support Caseworker to join our team at CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay. The successful applicant will provide high-quality support services to individuals and families affected by domestic violence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive case management services to support families in need.
  • Develop and implement individualized safety plans to ensure the well-being of clients.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide advocacy and support services.
  • Conduct intake assessments and triage to determine client needs and develop strategies for support.
  • Deliver group facilitation sessions on family education and other relevant topics.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in case management working with victims of domestic violence.
  • Understanding of NSW Human Services Outcomes Framework.
  • Solid knowledge of parenting programs and ability to facilitate such programs.
  • Demonstrated practice experience relating to current Child Protection and DFV legislation.
  • Ability to demonstrate networking and advocacy skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A Working With Children Check and Criminal History Check.
  • A NSW Driver's Licence and insured vehicle.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent full-time position based in Tuggerah, with travel across the Central Coast visiting families in their residential homes or in the community.

Estimated Salary:

$43,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
