Opportunities abound in the field of taxation, and we are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team.

Job Description
  • A permanent part-time position is available for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about numbers and has excellent communication skills.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and lodging tax returns for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, companies, and trusts.
  • Our ideal candidate will also have experience in preparing financial statements and budgets for clients.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and gain valuable experience in the field of taxation. You will be working closely with our experienced team of accountants to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of service.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Relevant qualification in accounting or taxation (e.g. CA, CPA, BCom)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in taxation, preferably in a public practice environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including income tax, goods and services tax, and superannuation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Xero tax and accounting systems
