The Role

As an Intermediate Tax Accountant, you'll work closely with senior accountants and partners to manage a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll prepare and review tax returns, financial statements, and BAS, as well as provide tailored advice to help our clients achieve their financial goals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who's ready to take the next step in their career and build on their technical and advisory skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, and other compliance-related documentation
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards
  • Liaise directly with clients and the ATO as required
  • Conduct research to support tax planning and advisory work
  • Work collaboratively with senior accountants and managers on more complex matters
  • Keep up-to-date with current tax legislation and compliance changes

About You

We're looking for someone who is professional, proactive, and committed to their career in accounting. You will have:

  • Experience working within business services and tax accounting(minimum 2 years preferred)
  • Completed or currently completing a relevant university degreein accounting, commerce, or a related field
  • Currently completing or intending to complete CPA or CA professional studies
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting standards
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A client-first mindset and ability to build strong professional relationships
