Energy Strategy Leader Opportunity

CSIRO is seeking a highly skilled Energy Manager to join CSIRO Futures, working on globally impactful challenges. This role offers unparalleled access to scientific expertise and the opportunity to innovate for Australia's future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project delivery teams to deliver national-scale industry roadmaps, technology strategies, and technology scans focused on the energy sector.
  • Contribute to scoping and proposal development for new project opportunities.
  • Liaise with clients to determine their needs and provide solutions.
  • Quickly gather, understand, analyze, and synthesize information from disparate sources into detailed insights.
  • Communicate complex concepts to senior executives and government decision makers.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate qualifications in science, engineering, business, finance, or economics.
  • Experience providing strategic advice to the energy industry or working within the industry in a technology or strategy-related role.
  • Autonomous leadership experience in small teams on strategic or technical consulting projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral communication, and presentation skills.
