Job Description

We are seeking a Personal Support Assistant to provide in-home personal care and daily living assistance to clients. This role involves assisting with showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and ironing, as well as providing care in accordance with individualized Care Plans.

The successful candidate will also support clients with community-based recreational and social activities, transport them, and assist with shopping and appointments. They will work independently and as part of a team, utilizing excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain confidentiality and respect client boundaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing in-home personal care and daily living assistance to clients
  • Supporting clients with community-based recreational and social activities
  • Transporting clients to appointments and activities
  • Assisting clients with shopping and other tasks
Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
