Job Description

Aptella is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team in Regency Park. This full-time permanent role will report to the Region Manager and require a high level of personal responsibility and autonomy to deliver quality services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out machine system installation and repairs, with a focus on Machine Control Systems and site solutions. They will work primarily onsite, with occasional phone/remote support activities.

This role is subject to pre-employment medical assessment and police check.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Installation and calibration of machine control systems and equipment
  • Troubleshooting, problem solving, and technical support
  • Servicing and maintaining equipment
  • Customer training
About You

We are looking for a Trade Qualified Auto Electrician, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, or Light Vehicle mechanic with excellent communication and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills, as well as an understanding of Electrical and Hydraulic systems.

They will also possess strong attention to detail, goal orientation, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. A high degree of professionalism and positive attitude is essential, along with the ability to work autonomously and build strong customer relationships.

The role requires a driver's licence and experience with heavy equipment mechanical repairs/maintenance, auto electrical repairs/maintenance, mobile plant hydraulic systems, and machine control systems is desirable.
