Reliability Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the provision of Reliability Engineering support to teams.
  • Improve reliability and availability of rollingstock fleet.
  • Reduce maintenance costs using reliability-centred maintenance principles and condition monitoring techniques.

Requirements:

  • Technical expertise in Failure Mode, Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Condition Monitoring.
  • Provide frontline support to Maintenance Execution teams on reliability investigations.
  • Develop reliability improvement scopes of work and programmes for improvement to fleet performance.
  • Monitor in-service incidents across the business to identify, classify, trend and report on reliability incidents.

About You:

For success in this role, you'll need a solid Engineering background in rail or other heavy industry.

High-level communication ability is essential with verbal, written and interpersonal skills integral to success.

You will need to demonstrate proven relationship management strengths with clear evidence of your ability to build successful stakeholder relationships.

Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Condition Monitoring-related Engineering or other relevant discipline and/or;

Proven industry experience in maintenance and reliability engineering and/or condition monitoring of equipment.

Demonstrated experience in the application of FMECA, RCM and Condition Monitoring; and

Background in heavy industry, transport, rail, avionics, or other related industries essential.
