We are seeking a seasoned Design Leader to spearhead our UX Design practice.

This pivotal role will involve establishing a robust user experience design culture that permeates through all aspects of our product engineering efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a compelling user-centred design vision and strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Talent Development: Mentor and coach your team to integrate design consistently and efficiently, ensuring high standards of quality, creativity, and innovation.
  • Design Excellence: Champion design excellence across the organisation, driving quality, creativity, and innovation in all design initiatives.
  • Product Discovery: Contribute to product discovery, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive design-led product development.
  • Culture Embedment: Collaborate with the Product Engineering leadership team to embed a product-led culture across the company, promoting design thinking and innovation.

You Will Bring:

  • A strong track record as a leader in the design space, preferably in a senior design leadership role within a product-centric organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience in product discovery, understanding the end-to-end life cycle, and effective design influence.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in visual and interaction design, service design, user research, and design systems.
  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, particularly in cross-functional and executive leadership contexts.
  • Highly developed leadership and mentoring skills, with experience leading a team of UX designers.
