About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Officer to join our team at NCS Australia. As a Project Officer, you will play a critical role in the delivery of exceptional IT solutions, working closely with our project teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure project success.
  • Manage project activities, resources, and information to guarantee alignment and informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as an IT Project Officer/Coordinator or similar role.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2).
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software development, and cloud computing.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
  • Strong organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (desirable)
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL framework
