Senior Software Engineer for Fintech Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at FIS, a leading fintech company.
As a key member of our agile development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing high-quality technical solutions. Your expertise in software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and maintenance, will ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in full software development life cycle, including designing, coding, testing, implementing, and maintaining software.
- Designing, programming, debugging, and testing software enhancements.
- Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to define/translate requirements and modifications into product designs.
- Participate in Agile scrum ceremonies: Daily stand-ups, design workshops, story grooming and sizing, and retrospectives.
- Provide recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
- At least 6+ years of relevant experience in a commercial environment.
- Experience with object-orientated, service-oriented architecture and domain-driven design in the design and development of applications.
- Hands-on experience with .NET, C#, Angular, JavaScript, WCF, Web Services, NUnit, HTML5, and CSS.
- Data modeling, database schema design, and SQL programming on SQL Server (3+ years).
- Must have permanent working rights in Australia and capable of working onsite in Sydney.
- Sound analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
- A competitive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum.
