About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work closely with developers, testers, and business analysts in an agile team to design, build, implement, and test quality technical solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be involved in the full software development life cycle, including designing, coding, testing, implementing, and maintaining software.
  • Design, program, debug, and test software enhancements.
  • Interact with product owners and business analysts to define and translate requirements and modifications into product designs.
  • Participate in Agile scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, design workshops, story grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Provide recommendations for the development of new code or reuse of existing code.

Requirements:

  • Experience with object-oriented, service-oriented architecture, and domain-driven design in the design and development of applications.
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience in a commercial environment.
  • Hands-on experience with .NET, C#, Angular, JavaScript, WCF, Web Services, NUnit, ADO.NET, HTML5, and CSS.
  • 3+ years of experience with data modeling, database schema design, and SQL programming on SQL Server.
