**Senior UX Design Lead Role**

We are seeking a seasoned UX design professional to drive end-to-end product design initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to develop business requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead discovery, framing, iterative development, and delivery of product design initiatives with a customer-centric approach
  • Establish relationships with stakeholders across government and partner with them to develop business requirements and create innovative solutions
  • Work with managers to set strategic direction, drive customer-led prioritization, and shape roadmaps to ensure initiatives are delivered on time
  • Maintain knowledge and promote awareness of industry trends, challenges, opportunities, and practices to recommend and deliver innovative solutions
  • Contribute to enhance and mature design and research practices, including the Service NSW Global Experience Language (GEL) design components and patterns
  • Coach and mentor other designers to increase design capability in product teams and enable designers to reach their full potential
  • Balance competing and complex demands to ensure product strategy and vision is achieved while delivering the right designs

  • You have a strong background in product design and experience in leading end-to-end product design initiatives
  • You are passionate about creating customer-centered products and have excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • You are able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • You have experience working with cross-functional teams and can establish effective relationships with stakeholders
