This position offers you the opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional care to women throughout their pregnancy, birth and postnatal period. You will be part of a leading healthcare provider delivering high-quality services across multiple hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide continuity of care to women covering the spectrum of midwifery care from antenatal to intrapartum and for up to 6 weeks postnatal
- Understand and apply evidence-based midwifery practice in both the antenatal and postnatal periods
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and partner with women to achieve positive outcomes
- Support service development and data collection initiatives
Requirements:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 1-year Postgraduate experience in a Midwifery environment
- Recent experience working in antenatal care, birth suites and post-natal settings
- Evidence of ongoing educational and professional development
- Demonstrated ability to model organisational values
